A sample post with a featured image, a figure, a callout, a pull quote, two columns, an image row and a code block.

This is sample content. It exists to test the article components together with the featured image, the table of contents and the share image, and to show how the admin writes them.

A figure

An image with a caption, written the way the admin’s Figure block writes it. The file lives in
public/media/
.

A placeholder drawing. Replace it with your own image.

A callout and a pull quote

Where the images go.

The featured image goes in
src/assets/blog/
and is optimised at build time. Images in the body go in
public/media/
and are used as they are.

One folder for pictures that are optimised, one for pictures that are not.

Two columns and an image row

The left column holds the longer text. On a wide screen it takes two thirds of the width, and below 720px the columns stack.

The right column is for a short aside, a list, or a note.

Rings on the left

Rings on the right

Code

npm run dev
npm run cms

That is every block in one post. It is a sample and can be deleted.

A short sample post that shows the optional hero image, which sits behind the breadcrumbs and title, under a dark gradient.

This is sample content. It exists to show the optional featured image on a blog post, and to test it.

How it works

Add
featuredImage
(a file under
src/assets/
) and
featuredImageAlt
to a post’s front matter. Leave them out and the post keeps its plain header.

Why a gradient

The text is always ivory, so the image gets a dark gradient that keeps it readable.

Running several AI agents on one repo goes wrong in quiet ways. The fix turns out to be old advice about folders and branches.

When two agents edit the same folder at the same time, they trample each other. They don’t crash. They quietly overwrite each other’s work, and you find out three commits later.

The old fix

Git already has the answer: worktrees. Give each task its own folder and its own branch, and let a person decide what gets merged.

git worktree add ../app.orbit/fix-header -b orbit/fix-header

Small rooms, clear doors

A list keeps this honest:

One task, one folder, one branch.

Nothing runs a command unseen.

Finished work merges itself; clashes go back to the agent that caused them.

An agent that can break nothing is an agent you can let run.

Sample pull quote

What I’d do differently

(Sample text. Replace with what you actually learned.)
